Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Doctor Devify Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal data on The Schema. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZC235234.

At the moment the site does one thing: it takes waitlist signups for a free teaching series. This policy covers that and nothing else, because there is nothing else. We will publish an updated policy before any other part of the product opens.

1. Data we collect

• What you type into the waitlist form:your name, your email address and your training grade. If you choose “Other” as your grade, we also store the short description you write in its place.
• Whether you ticked the optional box asking to hear about healthcare news and other Doctor Devify resources, along with the date you ticked it and the exact wording you were shown. We keep those last two so we can always tell you what you agreed to and when.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, which include your IP address, browser and the pages requested. These keep the site working and let us spot abuse.

That is the complete list. We do not collect payment details, because there is nothing to buy. There are no public accounts and so no passwords. We do not ask for your employer, your training number, or anything about your performance.

2. Why we use it

• To send you the free teaching series, tell you when it opens, and keep you posted on The Schema as the rest of it is built.
• To know roughly who is on the list, so the teaching is pitched at the grades actually waiting for it. This is the only thing your training grade is used for.
• To reply to you if you contact us.
• To keep the site available and secure.
• Only if you ticked the optional box, to email you occasionally about healthcare news that affects doctors, and other resources from Doctor Devify. If you left it unticked we will not, and joining the waitlist does not opt you in.

We will not pass your details to anyone else for their own marketing, and we will not sell them.

3. Lawful bases

For the emails we rely on your consent. There are two separate consents and they are not tied together: joining the waitlist consents to the teaching series and to updates about The Schema, and the optional box consents to healthcare news and other Doctor Devify resources. You can give one without the other, and joining the waitlist never opts you into the second.

You can withdraw either at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing us, and withdrawing does not affect anything we sent before you did. For keeping the site running and secure we rely on our legitimate interests in operating it.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We use a small number of service providers, who process it on our instructions only:

• Vercel, which hosts the site.
• Supabase, which stores the waitlist.
• Resend, which sends your confirmation email.
• Kit, which holds the mailing list the teaching series is sent from.

We may also disclose data to authorities where we are legally required to. If we change providers we will update this list.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your details on the waitlist until the teaching series has been sent and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Unsubscribing removes you from the mailing list; ask us and we will delete the underlying record too.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, port, or object to the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these, email schemamedical@gmail.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and review our practices regularly.

9. Cookies

Visiting this site sets no cookies at all. See our Cookie Policy for the detail, including the one thing we do store in your browser.
